"Middle Palisade Peak & Western White Pine": 12 color-layer multi-block reduction cut completed October 2017. The view of Middle Palisade Peak (14,012') is from above the mouth of Cataract Creek, looking at the descending waterfalls of Palisade Creek along which the John Muir Trail's Golden Staircase climbs several thousand feet to the Palisade Lakes.
